David Stagg (born 18 October 1983 in Townsville, Queensland) is an Australian professional rugby league player for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs of the National Rugby League. A Queensland State of Origin representative utility forward, he previously played for the Brisbane Broncos, with whom he won the 2006 NRL Premiership. Stagg is known to fans as the "tackling machine" for his ferocious and unrelenting tackling during matches.

Stagg played at centre for the Brisbane Broncos in their 2006 NRL Grand Final victory.

Personal life
During the 2007/2008 off season David married his then girlfriend, Tamika Sellars. On August 14, 2008, David became a father for the first time after his wife gave birth to a baby girl named Paige Olivia.
